”Hotel full of character staff very helpful especially the young Ukrainian receptionist. Found the Atlantic Superstore so convenient just a walk away spent 2 weeks in hotel as visiting family. Lake minutes away and bus stop to go to Alderney Landing and Ferry to Halifax. ”
”The room was very clean and the staff very helpful, breakfast was excellent. The only drawback was parking as it was very difficult to find any upon our return”

”I was impressed with the staff , front desk ladies were so helpful with our stay, the food was great and our only setback was transportation. Bus routes weren’t clear with all the construction in the downtown area . I feel a car was a necessity for this hotel location, however there was certainly not the noise that you would have to deal with in the inner core. We enjoyed the pool too! The deck was lovely to relax on for our morning coffee!”

”Overall a nice stay. We were greeted upon arrival and offered a complimentary water (not sure if this was because I was an IHG member). We didn’t take in any amenities so can’t comment on those. ”
”We go to HF quite often and usually stayed in mid range hotels. This time, all those hotels were booked up and we had no choice to book this cheaper but low rating one. It was to our surprise how clean and well maintained this place is. We stayed in a king bed room with kitchenet. The room was spacious and renovation was pretty new, even better than the hotels that would have costed us $100 more we stayed before. The kitchenet has a microwave, sink, coffee maker and a real two door...
”Easy access to facility from highway, friendly staff comfortable beds and nice sunny pool area to relax. There is no elevator so heavy bags can be troublesome for those with lifting concerns.”
