”Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.”

They have a beautiful display of live plants throughout the lobby providing a lovely welcoming feeling. I appreciated their large display of menus of nearby restaurants. If I visit Gettysburg again I will be using this location again.”

”The hotel was very close to town and Gettyburg national park. Our mattress had a dip on one side. They did flip it and it helped. The breakfast was average with egg patties and sausage, waffles, muffins, bagels, fruit. Not may usb plugs or outlets in room.”

”There was an extreme amount of noise from the group of kids above us and several nights we had to ask for quiet to be able to sleep. Running and jumping and loud banging . Running up and down the hall and up and down the stairwell next to our room. It was well past 12 am and then again n before 6 am.”

”OK, this is not a fancy hotel. But for what I paid, I thought I got excellent value. The place was clean. My room was very comfortable. The staff was outstanding and helpful. There was a pet fee, but it wasn’t much None of these are always true when you say stay at a lesser priced motel, but I thought the Super eight in Gettysburg delivered excellent value for the price charge and I would highly recommend it. They are a superstar at this level of hotel and I’ve stated a lot of of Super eight...

”It is an older property, but was clean. We parked right in front of our room. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is great; convenient to shopping, restaurants and attractions.”

”Spilled some water and wiped it up with one of their white towels which ended up not being white afterwards, disgusting. Their breakfast shows hot food like eggs and sausage which there was none. Staff member told me that's only on the weekends. All they had was lots of carbs. Had 2 cars in the parking lot with flat tires and the lawn desperately needed mowing.”

”This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible. The owners helped us bring in our luggage and showed us around the house. They told us about the history as well as how to maximize our stay in Gettysburg. They found an...
