”I stayed in the hotel for a single night alone during my trip to England. The location is rather remote from the main city centre and the surroundings near the hotel are a bit dodgy, without any services nearby. On the positive side, the Strood train station is very near the hotel, so if using this station the location is very convenient. No reserved parking is available at the hotel, only regular street parking. The hotel itself is very barebones, with a tiny reception area and a very narrow...

”Not the best experience. The hotel positioned me and my toddler next to a loud DJ until midnight followed by all the punters then coming out to the rooms next door and keeping us up until the small hours. I was told a refund would be given but then this offer has since been rescinded with hindsight. I would not recommend staying here.”

”This accommodation is excellent. It is a converted boat which was built in 1839 and used as a floating lighthouse off the east coast of England. The owners are polite and helpful and are on site.”

”Beds were comfy. Staff were friendly. The hotel is noisy. You have to pay for parking by the day and each time you use the pool or gym.”

”Easy to access, nice look, room was spacious and bed was excellent. Bar was open until 23:00 and had common beers in a tap, food was good, a bit bland to my taste but fresh and good quality. Wifi was slow.”

”Staff here are truly lovely! Pet friendly inn in a lovely village setting. Will always use this place as our stop over on the way to France.”
