”Very impressive updates to this property. Everything was immaculate. Everything is well thought out for a family or just a couple. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Thoughtfully designed to sit out and enjoy nature. This is definitely a place we would come back to again”

”We loved the cottage. It's on beautiful property. Made us feel at home. Kitchen well supplied. Because I'm in my 70's, I had a hard time figuring out where to enter the access code. My kids would have had no problems. There were a number of things near the door and it took me a while to figure it out. That's probably on me, but you could mention where to enter the code.”

”Great communication and checking to ensure all was well.”

”We had a fantastic stay at SML and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Even with several days of rain, we still had an amazing time thanks to the thoughtful design and setup of the house. The property was spotless when we arrived, everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The abundance of amenities made it feel like home (and then some), and we especially appreciated all the little details that showed how much care went into preparing the house for guests. From the...

”Amazing location, especially for the price. Clean, cozy, and a short walk to the river. Highly recommend and will hopefully be able to book again in future.”

”The home was neat and clean. The host was very friendly and attentive. Enjoyed this place very much will stay again.”

”My family loved staying in the farmhouse. It is a beautiful home and it was perfect for our celebration of my mom’s 90th birthday. It was very clean and there were many special touches that were appreciated. It is in a lovely area and was very quiet. Communication with the host was exceptional. I highly recommend this property and would love to stay there again.”

”We came to Hudson Haven for our final summer send-off before school starts back up. We loved the home and the location. Extremely clean and the host was excellent with prompt responses to any questions I had. Highly recommend!!”

”Beautiful home and terrific location!”

”This was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. And to boot it had everything you would need for the stay on the lake, including kayaks, paddle board and a hot tub to warm up in after a chilly day on the lake. Yep, we were there in the dead of summer but temps remained in the low 70’s and 80’s with misty rain. The weather was meh, but the location and time with family was fabulous! The host was very responsive and very thoughtful with a welcoming snore kit to enjoy by their fire pit....

”This was an amazing place to stay!”

”Great stay close to Roanoke and all the adventures in the areas.”

”This was a great house to stay in for a quick trip to Martinsville-- Plenty of space and a great kitchen for cooking. There were three bedrooms (all with double or larger beds) and one bathroom. Easy to check in and great set up. Thanks!”

”Unfortunately, there weren’t as many beds/rooms as listed so we weren’t able to stay there comfortably and ended up leaving. There were only two rooms. There was one room with a queen bed, one room with a bunk bed and a twin bed, and then a sofa couch in the living room. There was also a hallway that had a chair bed that we were asked to help bring in. We had six adults and two kids and could not fit in this home comfortably. There were also two cats that lived on the property outside that we...

”Missy communicated well. ”

”Lovely stay for a quick overnight trip to the races! Views from the front porch are beautiful.”

”We loved the property! Great location to all that we were doing while in the area! Would stay here again. We would like to suggest since we are older folks with limited tech savvy, please leave a list of what each remote does. There were so many it was over whelming! Other than the TV we never figured out what the others did especially the ones in the bathrooms. Also we had never seen those types of bathroom mirrors and could not figure out how to dim or turn off the three lights on the mirror...
