”George was friendly and helpful. Pleasant place to stay while in the area. Room was clean, breakfast was very good...pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, coffee and oj. He did ask about allergies and preferences. Plenty of parking.”

”If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep. Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical....

”Room was clean but the chair had stains all over it also no hand towels and only 2 towels for 2 people for 2 days. The towels were like using ruff sandpaper to dry off with they scratched your skin. But on the good end the bed and pillows were very comfortable.”

”The house was well thought out and in a beautiful location. Unfortunately it was not well maintained, needed upgrades, and was dirty. There were stains on rugs in the bathroom that needed washing and when I searched for a plug under the bed it was so dusty I didn't want to reach under to plug my phone in. An extension chord would have been nice. There were some 'muffins' to eat downstairs but I took a bite and they were hard and tasteless. There was only one sugary coffee creamer, no half...

”Hotel was dated. You could tell the staff took care to clean the rooms and most common areas, but it still needed some work. Corners, light fixtures and ceiling vents in the bathroom had visible dust. These are the things that can male a hotel stand out if cleaned and maintained. The hotel also shows a pool on the expedia pictures. The hotel website removed these pictures and they also removed the mention of a pool. There is no pool at the property. While it may not be my first choice, I...

”Very nice hotel, nice staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. Just be aware that there is no elevator to the second floor when booking. Will definitely stay there again next time in town. Walking distance to Baugher's Diner where we had great meals with excellent service.”
