Do not go to this hotel!!! I booked 2 rooms for two nights to attend a funeral. I barely slept because people above me was smoking and each time the person next door flushed the toilet or turned on faucet… I heard it.
Dirty rooms to include the lobby chairs. The garbage overflowing…
The day before my arrival, called La Quinta to assure my phone check in was updated. I spoke to Mike who mistook me for another guest and thought I hadn’t paid for the room. He realized the mistake, apologized and said I have 2 rooms and they are paid for. Two minutes later he texted my phone and said I only paid for one! Mike was very disrespectful. I told the front desk and the woman apologized. She said she read the messages and Mike should have never spoken to me that way. Mike apologized day two and I really felt like I didn’t get my money’s worth and it was worse feeling.
All in all, don’t book La Quinta in York, PA.
One room had stains on the wall, and dirty sheets. I told front desk. A man came to room complaining that the room was clean, yet he wiped the bed headboards.
The phone in the room I stayed in did not work. I had beg to get a phone and issue wasn’t resolved until the day I checked out. The water in bathtub had a clog, so it left a dirty ring afterwards. I returned to my room to see a ring of dried water and hair on floor. This let me know housekeeping changed bed sheets, but didn’t clean bathroom.
Again, I went to front desk. My room was filthy and finally changed.
