”My wife and I spent 3 nights at The Chocolate Box. We had the entire cottage, which included 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen , living room and a washing machine. It was an extremely peaceful and relaxing stay. It was so quiet as well. The location is perfect for day trips to Cork and Cobh, as well as the Ring of Kerry. Lidl was only a 10 minute drive away ”

”The hotel is lovely and the staff are the most caring. We arrived late in the night and they were ready to make us food even though the kitchen was closed. The room was spacy and the beds were comfy. Tiny downside was that the wifi doesn't work in the rooms, only in the lobby, and was very slow even there.”

”Clean and quiet room with a lovely view. Bar was great too- all the servers were friendly and helpful. I used the jaccuzzi and that was nice. The access to the carpark was easy. We would recommend this hotel to friends.”

”The Park is definitely a worthwhile splurge. Room was well appointed and the staff was warm and friendly. Kenmare is a great backdrop for a wonderful trip. If I had to make a "complaint" it would be that the carpet is so thick and plush it made pulling the wheeled luggage challenging, but that is not a serious complaint. ”

”Easy check in w the bartender. We were on the third floor, which was a quick walk up the stairs, I don’t think there is an elevator / lift, which wasn’t an issue for us. The town is pretty small and the pub/inn is right in the middle of town. We were able to find parking 1 street over. We ended up having dinner in the pub which was decent, not great. We stayed for the live music which was nice. Breakfast is included so we headed down to the pub where coffee, tea and juices are available. ...

”The room was spotless and amazing. This was one of our tops stays on a 2 week trip. Right in the heart of Kenmare, we parked right out front. No elevator so not ideal if you need accessibility. The beds, shower, and hotel were terrific! We took the room with a balcony which was enjoyed even in December. Highly recommend! They also have a wine bar attached and served a lovely breakfast. ”
