”The eleven of us had a fantastic week at Petrichor! There was plenty of space for our three generations in four families to spend time together, or retreat to privacy. ”I think a lot of the negative reviews are unwarranted. It was clean and had plenty of room for the 6 of us (plus dogs). The house is old and you need to use the window AC units, but it was fine and stayed cool all day. The prices are 1/2 that of other properties in the area. The house is a few minutes away from the beach. It is a duplex, but we never had an issue with the neighbors. The only bathroom is on the top level and up a flight of steep steps. It may not good for elderly people or people...

”Our family spent several days at this cottage and it was exactly what we needed. There was room for all of us, the place was spotless and the hot tub was a huge hit! ”This was our 2nd time staying here. The cabin is rustic but it is clean and had the basics we needed for a weekend getaway. It did the trick in helping us unwind from the hubbub of life and get back to experiencing the simple things in life. ”We absolutely loved the cottage that we got to stay in during our first trip to Saugatuck! The best feature was its location relative to downtown. Everything was in walking distance and the short drive to Oval Beach was so convenient for us. The cottage was clean and provided us everything that we needed. ”This was such a fun stay and Denise was a great host! If you’re going to spend time in the Douglas/Saugatuck area and don’t want to drive, check out the Interurban shuttle. They picked us up/dropped us off at the property so we could spend the evening in Saugatuck. The beach, hiking trails, shopping, dining and drinks are so close.
