”Our stay at the four bedroom log cabin was wonderful. We were in town for my son’s graduation from VT and this house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was great and well stocked, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice! Loved the large outdoor deck with a huge wrap around couch. We enjoyed eating dinner outside on the deck! ”Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. ”

”My group consisted of 2 married couples and 1 single guy. A motorcycle event out of Gearhead Junction in Pembroke brought us to Newport. The cottage was perfect for our group. Plenty of space for privacy as well as gathering to socialize. On Saturday I had planned to visit a few local shops but instead stayed on the farm and enjoyed the peace and serenity. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and fenced/escape proof front porch. Thank you for sharing your lovely mountain cottage.”

”Easy access to shopping and grocery store. Comfortable surroundings. Beautiful nature and lots of birdsong. The chickens free ranging on the property is a plus. Love it! Highly recommend for small group of adults and maybe school age children. We were three adults. The bunk bed is a bit tricky on the top bunk for an adult. The queen bed is very comfortable.”
