”We enjoyed our stay in a perfectly cozy (but not too small) apartment in the heart of Rockport’s cultural/arts district. This unit had to be the most immaculately kept VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in. It was clean and unlike a lot of the mishmash decor and supplies at some of our stays, Harbor Retreat is simply but tastefully decorated, with organized kitchen utensils and dish ware. Only drawback are the steep entry stairs but we managed. ”

”No hassle. Great for couple looking to stay in area. Only lacks an outside deck, but close walking distance to rocks with scenic ocean view. Bed is comfortable. Shower is good. TV works. Entrance, parking, and access is easy. ”

”Property overall was very good. Only real issue was the balcony screen doors screen was ripped out and the door did not lock. Would recommend.”

”Wow, what a wonderful stay in Salem. Absolutely perfect location on the commons.. Walkable to everything! Rachel, the host was always very responsive and check in process went very smooth. The unit is very clean and very comfortable. We can’t wait to come back again! Will stay in the Captain’ Quarters!”

”What a treat. Perfect location to pretty much everything. Food, shops, and beautiful views. Parking is tricky, but we figured it out and did just fine. As an added bonus a film crew was building a film set directly in front of our unit. We even had the crew walk in on us one evening. They told us our unit was to be in the film….cool. Everything in the unit was as it should be. Loved our stay.”

”House was clean. The hosts were very kind and responsive and helped deal with any issues in a timely fashion. Bathrooms are extremely small and would not be well suited for larger individuals. The driveway is a good size for smaller vehicles. My GMC 2500 fit but was snug getting in and out of the truck. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider it again. ”

”We were looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay for our visit to Salem. This place was exactly that. Three minute drive to the center of Salem, and in walking distance to Beverly shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet as well. Next time we decide to visit Salem we will be checking to see if this place is available again.”
