”My stay was disappointing overall. The hotel had several maintenance and service issues that affected the experience. The elevator was broken, which made it inconvenient to get around the property. Inside the room, the thermostat did not work properly. When I tried to adjust the temperature from 70 to 71 degrees, either the air conditioning would turn on full blast or the heater would turn on full blast. ”Great location with a historic feel right on the main street with shops and restaurants at your doorstep. Breakfast is a step above highway hotels but nothing to rave about. Common areas are abundant indoors and out with lovely furnishings. Bedrooms are a bit dated.”

”What l didn’t like was the lack of a closet for hanging clothes, even though it did have a designated area for hanging clothes openly in the room. With regard to the breakfast, since I am diabetic there was nothing for me to eat. I would have loved if they had boiled eggs.”

”The hotel was clean and the view from the room was great with floor to ceiling windows. There is a lot of street construction in front of the hotel - the whole block actually, but when that’s done the view will be even better. We had a two bedroom suite, and had plenty of space for all 5 of us. There are lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. It’s also walking distance from the Riverwalk. The Sacred Heart (former Catholic Church) is right behind the hotel and you can tour it for...
