”Overall it was good. I would stay there again.
Unfortunately, my room was on the 3rd floor, and with no lift at the premises made it difficult to carry heavy suitcases via the stairs.”
”The owner was was very friendly, welcoming & helpful. The guest house was beautifully decorated & furnished & spotlessly clean. The shower in my ensuite bathroom was very spacious & easy to access. The breakfast in the dining room was delicious with plenty of choice. There were fresh flowers on each table which I thought was a nice touch. I only stayed 2 nights as I was attending a family wedding in the area but would have been happy to stay longer. If ever I need to visit Aylesury again I...

From the thoughtful details to luxurious surroundings loved the self controlled heated towel rail in the bathroom and the gorgeous free fluffy dressing gown to wear everywhere and stylish tote and matching flip flops! Food scrumptious too which was added surprise! ”

”Very nice stay in small and cosy Old Amersham village. The hotel was cute little old building dating back to 15th century (oldest parts). Room was well equipped; big bathroom with tub and separate shower. Complimentary toiletries ans water was provided. Breakfast was okay, more british style (as scandinavians we missed all the veggies). Staff was very helpfull and nice.”

Our room was spacious & clean, we had a nice big bed & decent amenities, the floor was creaky but that’s to be expected for an old building. Parking was easy and free right behind the building. Lots of nice shops & restaurants all in walking distance. We would happily stay here again and are already planning our next stay in Amersham. ”

Some people in reviews have complained about road noise - they should be realistic about their expectations. It’s an old property right next to a road. If you are someone that’s sensitive to road noise”
