”Beach view was stunning and just what we wanted. However unit was not as advertised - luxurious it was not. Dishwasher full of dishes clean but not put away. Woken on first morning by jack hammer on wall behind bed in next door unit. Although promised no thurs Fri or sat and Sunday work would be happening only sat and sun free of noise. We should have been informed by owner that this was going to be happening and offered different dates. Only one towel each for two weeks, no bath mats or face...

”Booked and paid for a place that was 4 bedrooms, sleeping 12. Only to go to check in and receive a place that was 3 bedrooms sleeping 5. We had 8 people staying with us, only one couple. We received no financial reimbursement or refund for the mistake, and now that the trip has finished and everyone has gone home, the person I was in contact with who owns the place we stayed in, is no longer replying to my messages or phone calls. ”

”View was ok. Other buildings blocked ocean. Room was decent, renovated from an old apartment. Tiles on the floor in the shower are VERY slippery. Careful! Couch was dirty and had some stains on it, but room was otherwise clean. Seemed expensive for what it was, but being a large room near the beach in Burleigh, it was probably priced accordingly.”

”Location is a 10* and the property is a 1*. The deferred maintenance and replacement of faulty and inadequate equipment is awful. Broken: Window shades, Door drapes, Electric outlet, Peeling floor, Ceiling light, & Table. Dirty and swelly blankets and furniture.”

”Great little place to stay, everything was clean, tidy and very modern. It had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The washing machine was a awesome bonus!. Great location to get around. The hosts were easy to get a hold of and very accommodating for any needs. Highly recommend.”
