”While booking a place for a night close to the highway, I failed to notice there’s no reception. You’re supposed to send an ID copy in advance and get a key code. I noticed this only at the door and had to look for a number to call. The guy was helpful though and just recited the code on the phone.
The pros of this place are low price (€55 for a single bed) and location at the gate of a quaint little castle town. While there’s no restaurant, there is a decent pizzeria on the shore less than 1km...
”Tillbringade en natt i början av september 2025 i samband med genomresa. Inkvarteringen finns i den lilla, pittoreska orten Hüttenheim mitt i vindistriktet Franken. Värdinnan var mycket hjälpsam, rummet och frukosten utmärkta. Enda nackdelen var ett dåligt fungerande Wi-Fi. Vi återkommer gärna.”
”Nydelig, lite gasthaus i en sjarmende liten landsby. Meget hyggelig restaurant på stedet med god mat og hyggelig servitører. Servering både ute og inne. Frokosten hadde akkurat det vi trengte ( samboer gir minus for ingen bacon😅 ) Hadde en overnatting her på vei til Kroatia. Rimelig pris som inkluderte frokost. Minus for ingen aircondition, men gikk greit med vifte på rommet til tross for 32 grader ute. ”

”Mahtava hotelli pienen rauhallisen viinikylän keskustassa. Alakerrassa upea ravintola ja viinibaari, joissa kannattaa ehdottomasti vierailla. Ravintola itsessään on myös käynnin arvoinen. Suosittelemme vahvasti ja tulemme varmasti uudestaan. 👍”
”A very good hotel and restaurant. Big room, clean, with good beds. Excellent dinner at their restaurant with good and nice service. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of things to enjoy (especially the Nutella machine that gave me exact the amount of Nutella I wanted!). Located in a small peaceful village. This day we got a free opera concert at the park by the river. The hotel and its restaurant give a lot of value for the money. I recommend is strongly and I will return. ”
”Das Zimmer war sehr groß und alles sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Frühstück gab es eine große Auswahl an Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Honig, Semmeln u.v.m.. Es gibt einen großen Parkplatz und die Fahrräder konnten wir in einer Halle gut unterstellen. ”
