Daily breakfast was clean tasting and delicious. The hotel grounds are so thoughtful, well designed and aesthetic. Despite it being an old building, it did not feel cold like some old buildings can - Insulation done right! ”After we had been escoreted to our room and I noticed there was a warning on the room door that they have tried to get rid of bed bugs but that there could still be some. Sure enough, we saw one on our bedroom's wall. Now we are at home and going through every cloth and bag to make sure we don't carry them with us at home. I didn't sleep basically all night as was thinking of those ugly bugs. Other than that, the room didn't have good lights, it was cold when we arrived and the breakfast was...

”We stayed three nights at Il Porticciolo and found it very charming and cosy. Location right on the lake-front is fabulous and you can admire the scenery from your own balcony or the beautiful breakfast/dinner terrace. I'll remember nights on the balcony admiring the lights across the lake. Service was friendly and impeccable and the room very comfortable, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
