”Excellent hotel with great service and a fantastic restaurant”

”Lovely last minute night away. Haven’t stayed here for a while and I think the rooms have been refurbished. Very nice. Only two issues. Very musty smell in the room which I think comes from no window ventilation. Loads of condensation running down the window after a shower and the air conditioning didn’t work when we got there. Assuming it’s on a timer but it was cold. But good stay.”

”Just what we needed as an overnight stay while attending a nearby family wedding.”

”We had a one night stay here. It was very easy to find and felt very secluded. The immediate surrounding area was very pleasant.”

”The staff is very friendly. It is within ten minutes walk to the downtown. Although the carpark is free, It is in first come first service basis.”

”The hotel was right next to the train station, so very convenient as a base for travelling in the area as we did. The city is so small that the walk to the bus station (where buses to e.g. the gower peninsula leave), the quadrant shopping centre or the restaurant cluster is no problem. There are a few small convenience stores close to the hotel, which were open til late, and the 24h tesco (not sundays) was also within walking distance. Overall a nice and clean base.”

”Positives - staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for access to beach side walks and village. Negatives - room had a number of maintenance issues - Wall mounted TV had to be switched off on plug behind the TV ?? TV remote also did not work. Toilet seat loose and moved about. Shower door was broken. Bedside light not safe. Breakfasts were OK, nothing to rave about. ”
