”The hotel was right next to the train station, so very convenient as a base for travelling in the area as we did. The city is so small that the walk to the bus station (where buses to e.g. the gower peninsula leave), the quadrant shopping centre or the restaurant cluster is no problem. There are a few small convenience stores close to the hotel, which were open til late, and the 24h tesco (not sundays) was also within walking distance. Overall a nice and clean base.”

”This hotel is right next to one of the best Gower beaches. Once you have arrived after battling through the narrow Gower roads, you may well not need the car again until departure. On the spot are beach and coastal path walks, and there is an adequate bus service for trips further away. ”Helen & Matt are first class hosts and The Mill offers a peaceful, relaxed break in beautiful surroundings. As many others have said, breakfast is of hotel quality and freshly cooked to order. For our evening meals we took an easy 11 mile drive to Llandeilo where there were several options. Visiting National Botanic Gardens was easy (once we used a map and ignored SatNag!) and that's an excellent day trip. We rarely visit the same place twice, however, we wouldn't hesitate to return to The Mill...
