Karavaanialueet – Grand Marais

”Disappointed the sauna and hot tub were not working. Would have liked to see the doors to the outside being locked (at least at night). Otherwise staff was nice and room was very clean for an older inn.”

”Facility was nice but the lack of dining accommodations, housekeeping services, front desk being inaccessible before 8 AM made it inconvenient. Additionally, this is the most expensive hotel we've ever stayed at that different offer a complimentary breakfast. Based on the lack of in-house amenities we won't return.”

”This was our second year returning to the Cliff dweller. Looking forward to next year as well. Views of Lake Superior from our small deck each year are great!”

”This property is awesome. Comfortable bed, great shower, wonderful view of Lake Superior. Private access to the beautiful rocky shoreline. Pretty fowers and bushes and a wood fire sauna. Nice area by the water for a fire or picnic. Did I mention clean windows!!! Everything was very well organized!!”

”This dwelling is perfect for a couple who wishes to be within walking distance of all the attractions of downtown Grand Marais. It's easy to get to, and the host is very responsive.”

”Could use more hangers. A mirror outside of bathroom. Our stay was great. Views were awesome. Could have a better plan for senior citizens. Something with less stairs. We loved our stay. Staff was great! Brad on top of gondola was especially helpful!”

I spent a lot of time in the sunroom-- I just loved watching the butterflies and birds coming and going through the yard. The back porch was cute and I like sitting back there to hear music from the rooftop bar a couple of blocks away. I was within walking...

”Great location right on the water. Fully stocked kitchen and easy walkability. Parking right out your door and very clean property.”

”This perfect cabin nestled in the trees was close enough to get to everything by foot but far enough that you feel away from the city.”

”Great stay. Always happy to find a pet friendly place. Our pup loved sleeping by the stove on a chilly morning. Cleanest outhouse I’ve ever been in.”

”The location is ideal. The accommodations were as described, however, I would not review the toilet (outhouse) as super clean, as we had read on previous reviews. It was fine, but not exceptional. Just to reinforce, we were very glad we had a space heater for nights in the 40s and 50s. There is minimal wattage in the dome and so we had to keep the fan on low and did not dare raise the temp above 65°. It took the edge off. This is a great “primitive” experience. The dome is super cute. It could...
