”We had 13 adults & 13 kids from 0-14. Beds for everyone, stuff to do for all ages, and space to get away from the chaos when necessary. Kitchens had what we required for cooking. Beautiful scenery and put together in a great way. Owners did a great job of communicating instructions and very friendly. Highly recommend.”

”We booked our stay here about 2 years ago for a family trip from the UK to experience the total eclipse. Katherine was very attentive and answered all queries promptly, advising on things to do etc in the area. The house is lovely, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It had a great porch with a swing chair and rocking chair out front and decking out the back where you can sit and eat in the evening. The house is in easy walking distance of Waxahachie, which is a lovely little town....

”Wonderful host, great old house to explore, like a museum with a Brit twist! Great wrap around porch. Teacups, plentiful tea and coffee in room. ”This is a nice house with spacious rooms, but we encountered several issues with regards to cleanliness. There were clumps of hair on the floors, in the pool, and even on the front porch. Items were left in the backyard from previous guests. Food was caked on various surfaces. The towels were rolled up neatly on the beds, but they were very damp. There was also a significant fly infestation that seemed to be primarily in the kitchen. I wondered if food had been left out, or if the trashcan...
