”Perfectly placed in a quiet spot on the edge of Grasmere with stunning views. Lots of walks from the doorsteps of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, took our luggage, took an interest into our stay, couldn’t fault the service. Breakfast set up was good with a range of cooked options included in the breakfast price. Had one meal at the restaurant, nice setting and atmosphere, professional service, food was decent slightly underwhelming however given the reputation of the restaurant....

”We stayed here for 2 nights and everything was good. All the staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and steam room were good. The gym was probably the biggest one I've seen in a hotel. Plenty of parking available. We slept very well here. Overall a great experience and we'd visit again, but have dinner somewhere else.”
