”What a treasure we found! Everything was fabulous especially the staff and the breakfast. The room was large and comfortable and we were even able to pay for parking on-site. I highly recommend this little gem.”

”Walking in the first thing I notice was the rooms were extremely small. No biggie. But then a few major things like plumbing was backed up so shower water filled up the floor and same thing with the bathroom faucets.. the power outlets did not work so I couldn’t charge my phone which ended up being a major issue for my night out. One of the worst properties I have stayed at. To make matters worse there is no one to physically talk to for check in so it just made it all that much more difficult....

”We really enjoyed our staying in stylish Proper Hotel San Francisco. We got excellent, yet easygoing service and ate delicios breakfast. The room itself was fine design with high quality toiletries. Because of the not-so-safe district where the hotel is, it’s good to understand, that the view out of the window and late walking on the streets is not recommended. Nevertheless these facts didn’t bother us too much.”

”Stayed in the room with detached bathroom because I didn’t read the description closely enough. The room itself was tiny and had no exterior windows. (I hit my knee pretty hard on the bed frame and my partner hit his head on the tv trying to get around the bed). It was musty/muggy and hard to ventilate in the room and the bathroom. The bathroom mirror wasn’t clean when we arrived. The shared space was nice, but the water dispenser stopped working and the coffee wasn’t really drinkable. Maybe the...

”Bedbugs. Completely stained bed cover. Hair in the sheets. Next to a loud bar. Dirty in general. I found a bed bug and got a refund and stayed somewhere else. Yes, it’s cheap but I wouldn’t sleep here for free.”

”I LOVE THIS HOTEL!! It's my second multi-night stay in it. EVERYTHING in the "suggested subjects" was "MAX"! The "Community Room" on the first floor really HAD the feeling of ... well ... "community"....including a delightful number of aspiring young Entrepreneurs from South America - perfect English, of course! Clean; sunny-bright; great full-sized appliances including excellent microwave for charming array of coffee-tea-amendments; filtered water. Mind, I have NO reservations about...

”The beds were comfortable and the location within easy reach of the city attractions. The photos online are from a past refurbishment. The actual rooms and main lobby look much more tired than the photos. There isn’t air conditioning in all rooms and the rooms get very warm. A comfortable stay but not awesome.”
