Although if you search the exact location, you will find it’s in/near the forest but looking at the pics posted you would think it was near the beach and it is not. I could overlook that if the home was stocked with everything needed and beds were comfortable but that was not the case. ”Wow! This was the most beautiful place. The property is tucked up on a beautiful lot of trees and ferns. Our room was just gorgeous with beautiful furniture, wallpaper and a fireplace. I couldn’t believe we were staying in such a storybook place. I found Mike at the checkin super kind and helpful. He also gave great recommendations for hiking based on my husband’s mobility needs. His advice was perfect—made our trip! You can literally enter Acadia from the trails directly behind the hotel....

”A very nice Inn that felt like a B&B. I am used to Marriott and Hilton properties and this was a nice break from those. The Inn has a beautiful view. I enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the patio and my family went into the hot tub at night. The breakfast options were simple but good enough to hold us over for a few hours. The rooms were also simple but clean and comfortable. OVerall, we had a great experience.”
