Majatalot – Great Cranberry Island

”Dated room and bathrooms definitely needs a urgent and major upgrade for the price they ask.”

”The Little Fig is a little gem in Bar Harbor! The staff were so lovely and accommodating, and the amenities - grab and go breakfast items and hiking snacks - were perfect for a weekend exploring Acadia!”

”Loved our stay at the Primrose Inn!”

”this place was the perfect spot to take in the shops, restaurants, bars, and beauty of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The room was well appoinmted with a cute reading nook, clean sheets, and even a split AC unit should we have needed it. The staff were all so kind and welcoming.....not to mention great bakers! Breakfast was wonderful every day, with a baked muffin, and a choice of a sweet or savory meal. Coffee and tea were available all day. We would not hesitate to stay here again.”

”Great overall! You really notice that everything is well maintained, clean, nice rooms, excellent friendly service, perfect location.. Lots of small perks like a gym, bikes to loan, etc”

”Front desk Jen was friendly & knowledgeable & we chatted daily. The room was very large & clean. The bed was comfortable & the white duvet made it feel like home. Breakfast included menu had a great variety of dishes to choose from & all were delicious with each plate adorned with a variety of fresh fruit & muffin. All restaurant personnel were also friendly. We also enjoyed the fresh baked cookies every afternoon. Would highly recommend this hotel which was a 3-4 minute walk to the Bar...

”The staff was great”

”No hot water placed a damper on an otherwise nice weekend. Would have enjoyed taking a shower!”

”We could stay for 2 hours only for what was a 3-night booking! Rooms were the dirtiest that I have seen for any hotel, we could find human hair all over the floor/bed and black patches on floor. What made the situation even worse is we had a 2 year old with us. No safe and clean space for him. Fireplace felt more of a liability with the limited space and continuous smell. There was hardly any space to keep luggage, no closet whatsoever. We could spent 2 hours at this place (1 hour of which was...

”This is the biggest rip off. For what I paid for one night here I could have stayed in a Hilton with actual soap, shampoo, conditioner, real coffee with an actual cup, a hot breakfast buffet, and a comfortable bed and linens that are actually soft, and a luggage rack to place my suitcase on. Yes, the view is beautiful, but it’s Coastal Maine, there are plenty of places with beautiful views. The good-beautiful view, hot water, there is a hot tub (that smells) and an outdoor sauna The bad- no one...

”The grounds are spectacular! Treat yourself to a waterfront view...you will never want to leave your room!”

”This little cottage is wonderful! It sleeps 2 comfortably. The hostess was approachable and available for anything we needed. Very clean and quaint space with just enough of what you need for a pleasant stay. We would definitely stay here again!”
