”The property had a terrible smell. The whole hotel looked like it was not renovated for centuries. The bathroom had an awful smell when we flushed the toilets. I would not stay or recommend this hotel. Breakfast was average.
We stayed for two nights, but in hindsight should have checked out immediately as the standards were really poor. Luckily we had some friends with us so could share the pain. We spent most of the time in the services at the food court and only went to sleep as it was very...

”Great food, breakfast is fabulous lots of choice and actually the hot breakfast was hot which was great compared to other hotels, lovely helpful staff, huge suite, just needs brightening with some colour and touches here and there. Air con needs checking as wasn’t that cold and I am a hot person so really wanted it to be better. Shame there is no jacuzzi in the pool area and the pool is shallow both ends but I did have a lovely massage with Brenda. Overall lovely stay definitely stay again.”

”Almost everything was great. The room was spacious and decorated well. The communal areas were lovely, as was the food. There is a bit of maintenance needed in the pool/steam room & sauna area and it’s cold in the corridor to the steam room and sauna. It’s a shame that the jacuzzi has been filled in.”

”We had a nice and comfortable stay overall. The venue is lovely, with beautiful views and a great location. The rooms were nice, although a little dated in places.
There were just a few things that could have been better. The toiletries were very limited for two people – only one soap, one shower gel and one body lotion. There was also a crack in the shower, and the water was filling up when using the sink, which wasn’t ideal.
The spa was lovely, but we were disappointed that we had to pay...

”Although a little tired and dated the hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff is what makes the hotel, friendly and professional. Helpful and welcoming and only too happy to give information with a special mention to Diana in the restaurant. The location was great, with plenty of parking. I would stay here again.”
