I was supposed to stay one night but fell in love with my room that had a balcony with the beautiful ocean view and the calmness of the property so I extended my trip by another night, which the staff was super helpful with. The hotel is newly renovated and everything is pretty much brand new. It's nestled away in a calm neighborhood and a walking distance from Whiffin Spit. I was amazed by my hotel room. ”Our room was located in a nice area. There were cameras around the rooms and parking area which we liked. The room was very clean and worked well for us. We were on the ground floor. I would have preferred to be on an upper floor since the rollup window coverings had to be all the way down and closed for privacy.
The door lock was fussy, but the attendant in the office went with us to our room and showed us some tips and we had no more problems with it. It is a 25 minutes drive downtown...

”The door for the washrooms at rooms 409 and 410 are not wide enough for a wheelchair. Luckily, Room 404’s washroom can swing the door a bit open and barely the wheelchair can get in. There is not enough bar handles to grab for the person to transfer from wheelchair and sit in the toilet seat. Some technical additions Embassy Inn should consider looking into. Thanks.”
”e-bikes provided by the property were great! No better way to see Victoria, esp with an excellent bike/walking trail that connects to much of the city only a block from Robin Hood. The kayaks are also awesome, but make sure you request/reserve them early. They are limited and get booked quickly. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast fare; nothing special, but no complaints. Rooms were spacious & clean. I appreciated the kitchenette & living room. Coin laundry was convenient. Staff was courteous...
