Huoneistohotellit – Great Sacandaga Lake

”The first disappointment was how close by the road was.It makes sense for an old hotel, but I found the constant noise and traffic unpleasant and certainly for sitting on the verandah. Also no breakfast is served which is mentioned on website though it definitely was not happening. And lastly I found it tacky to demand a dollar each for drinks in the beverage area.If it costs that much they could incorporate it in the room charge. It just seems unwelcoming”

”Delightful experience, like stepping back in time - you could let your imagination flyI”

”The hotel has a nice restaurant, bar area and outside firepit area. Everything seemed clean and neat. The staff was friendly and helpful. ”Large cabin, nice kitchen, ice cold A/C. Comfy beds, beautiful scenery. Quick access to 500 feet of private lake shoreline. Love the Bear theme throughout the cabin, it’s a great touch. My family and I really enjoyed our time here.”
