”The property was nice. The room was clean. When entering the room the temp was set high and it was a hot summer day so that takes time to try to cool off. I found the bistro to be misrepresented and the staff were difficult to order from and said they did not have items like water of all things and had a huge board advertising a special which the staff person said I don’t know about that only the manager does so we don’t have it. Parking is expensive be prepared to pay and not have a close spot....

”The room we were given had a smoke smell but we we soon given another room that was fine. Everything worked well. Breakfast ok -- except for the all-too-common plastic cutlery and plates -- not ecological. ”

”Very good breakfast, nice staff, quiet and clean hotel. The only problem was that the pillowcases hadn't been washed (they smelled like dirty hair, and the bedspread smelled like dirty armpits). It was very late, and I didn't have much time to sleep, so I couldn't say anything about it. I recommend the hotel 100%, but I would definitely recommend asking for fresh covers and sheets as soon as you check in; that's what I'll do next time.”

”This was my 1st time staying at Double Tree Hotel. What amazed me about this Hotel was that there was a bar, game room, pool table, indoor and outdoor pool, breakfast dining, coffee spot and you get a free warm cookie at the front counter. The only downside and I completely understand because it only takes one person to ruin something for everyone, was the fact you had to share a microwave with everyone on your floor. I didnt use the microwave due to that, but other than that my stay was...

”The room was comfortable and roomy. It had a separate living room, door to the bedroom, an electronic system to indicate if housekeeping was needed (first time I’ve seen this and it was so helpful), a refrigerator with small freezer. The restaurant and bar were very convenient. The indoor was a wonderful way to relax after a busy day.”

”Beware there are other hotels much better to choose from!!!! NOT up to Marriott standards. This is such a poorly managed hotel. Have been coming to Williamsburg 28 years. Everyday breakfast items out (different times) , not being refilled, No coffee. Check in rude, sarcastic and condescending, could not wait for shift to end. Furniture damaged, TV stopped working. Stayed 4 nights and housekeeping came in once.”
