”This place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in.
We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night...
”Barbra and the rest of the staff are very friendly. They gave great suggestions of things to do and places to eat while on the island. The room was clean and beautiful. If you like being surrounded by nature, this is a great spot.”
”This resort is really outdated (atleast the tower were we stayed – they were doing some renovations there though) We were happy that we only booked one night. It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. ”
”Sea village was beautiful. We had a great view from the patio and even though the apartment didn't have air-conditioning, it was comfortable. Only thing missing was a beach. ”

”The young lady (I think Mary) at the front desk was very helpful during the day. The gentleman in the evening was also helpful. The staff was very pleasant and our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast was good but would have like some yogurt that was Greek and diabetic friendly. ”
”We booked this hotel because we wanted to see Manta Rays, although views vary between evenings based on waves. Don’t count on anyway that you can book a table with Manta Ray views. We booked, but the table was not kept to us.
Otherwise the hotel is pretty average. Rooms are pretty simple and beds are small. Swimming pool is pretty nice, water slides good for small children. Service in the restaurant can be really slow when they have more customers.”
