”Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb.”

”My 5th time staying at Trading Boundaries. Always clean and the room has everything you could need. Grounds are lovely, especially nice to sit outside in the sun! Delicious continental breakfast and coffee in the morning. I’ll be back again soon!”

The food was always great particularly the breakfast and came out wonderfully hot and on hot place which is so often an issue in other hotels. It's lovely to sit out in the garden and we were staying while the World Cup and Wimbledon were on and it was easy to catch the games in the evening but also lots of space to get away from the action. ”The hotel was beautiful and spacious. When we were there we ate both dinner and breakfast outside which was lovely, again looking over extensive grounds (although oddly the second tier of the garden below the main level was not well maintained at all) However the feel of the place was a bit chaotic and we heard a number of guests complaining about things which should have been easily remedied (tvs not right, AC not entirely working and so on) We had a lovely dinner but one of our servers made...

”The staff were all very good but at times a little pushed to see to everything. Our room was roomy but not particularly clean, cobwebs on windows, dirt and dusty skirting and all areas upon high had a good layer of dust. One bulb out at bedside and marks on wall and skirting that could be wiped off. Bed linen and towels were clean and soft. Shower and sink clean but toilet was not!!! Passage way to and from dining room smelt of cooking grease all the time that would suggest extractor filters...

”Breakfast is advertised as being available from 7. As we had a plane to catch we were keen to get it early. But hot food was not out until 7.15, fruit juice not until 7.20 and there was initially no bread to toast (just crumpets and muffins) and no butter. If breakfast is advertised from 7, everything should be available from 7, not 20 minutes later. very poor effort.”
