”Maria, who is front of house, was so welcoming and later, in the dining room she tirelessly looked after us and all the other guests. The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. Just a short drive to Monmouth High Street with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Hosts are more than welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was perfect - variety of cereals, fruit, juice and tea/coffee to choose from and the full English was cooked to perfection.
