”Great hotel. Had a nice upgrade. The room had a comfy bed and was very clean. There was an ac unit in the bedroom which helped cool the room down. The only thing was the shower pressure was very low and cut out a couple of times. ”
”Fabulous stay, beautiful building, excellent location next to lovely pubs, restaurants and shops. Nice walk along the canal into the centre of Chester. Breakfast was beautiful with lots to choose from and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.”

We ate in restaurant for an evening meal and a breakfast and again brilliant. Weather was wonderful so we made great use of outside floating beer garden. We liked it so much we are going to re-book for Christmas time. One last thing, the wallpaper in Ladies is brilliant”

The meals at the restaurant downstairs were average and my fish & chips tasted very fishy/not pleasant and the chips were soggy & greasy. The worst meal I had in the 3 weeks of travels.”
”We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent.
In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site
