”We set out looking for a large house close to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown that would house our group of 9 family style. This house fit our needs and was more than comfortable. ”My family stayed at this cottage while visiting the historical triangle. My kids absolutely loved fishing off the bridge and catching the tiny crabs around the property. I loved the amazing views and proximity to everything we needed. The homeowners were incredibly helpful and friendly whenever we needed to communicate. Highly recommend!! ”

”We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. ”Property manager canceled my stay with no notice. I had already driven a great distance to be there. Took several days for them to issue the refund despite the fact that they canceled the reservation same day. Actually they told me I had to cancel the reservation on my end. I assume this was so they would still get the money from the reservation, but I called to cancel it and explain the situation. Long story short don’t book here.”

”The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples.
