”We had a great stay at Captain's Cabin. We were looking for a place on Sabine Lake that had great access to our favorite fishing spots and Captain's Cabin suited our needs perfectly. The house and yard were very clean and well appointed. There was ample room for parking and the area is safe and extremely quiet. David, the property owner ,was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend Captain's Cabin to anyone. ”

”My crew enjoyed the location and their overall stay at this location, which I am very thankful for. However, their communication could use a little work. I believe the host is in a different time zone, but we did not receive the lock code until almost an hour after arriving that evening and I had to reach out to customer service in order to get a hold of him.”

”Our family enjoyed our stay at Cherrelle’s place. Everything was just as described and exactly like the pictures. Cherrelle was very kind and also very responsive and attentive. The location of this property is perfect. We were within minutes of anything and everything. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying with Cherrelle again on our return to this area.”

”The house was lovely, the yard needed mowing badly. Was disappointed the yard was not fenced. We thought a pet friendly property would have a fenced yard. The neighborhood was awful. We tried to not go out at night. Neighbors had large groups of people outside almost all the time they played loud vulgar music. The yard had little cockle burrs bad. They got into our little 6 pound senior dogs fur so bad we had to take him to the animal er to get them out on Saturday.”

”This property could use some updates...most of the cabinets were broken...also pest control definitely needed. Shouldn't have guest sign a waiver for roaches ”
