”Second time here, so I knew the room would be cosy and clean, the breakfast would be superb and the wi-fi work reliably. Biggest reason for returning still the loveliest staff - thank you for a perfect stay!”

”Friendly and very helpful host. Accommodated my dietary requirements very well. The optional breakfast is tasty and substantial, which is a big hit with me, and definitely worth paying the extra for. Nice new flooring and carpets throughout. My room was clean but could use an electric socket near the bed (I have advised host on this). Bedside lamps were battery only and ran out of power when I went out for a long evening. This might be only an issue in one room however. Runway is very handy...

”Firstly i must praise Tristan on reception. Helpful, sorted a problem out for me instantly, and with a smile. Imperial is my favourite place, however i have to mention the public toilets downstairs were a real mess, and our evening meal was disappointing. Lets say not as described and vegetables missing. It will not deter me from returning but it did tarnish our stay a little. Every member of staff amazing apart from Chef.”

”I have a very mixed review for this hotel. The renovated rooms are nice, but the pre-reno one I refused to stay in was nasty. Some of the staff are lovely but the manager was rude and unpleasant. I booked a superior king suite which was listed as having a sea view, sofa bed and deep soaker tub. The room I was given was smaller with a shower. According to the manager I couldn’t stay in the room I booked because it’s actually the junior suite not a superior king room. She then said it had...
