”El Picnic was absolutely incredible! Waking up to views of lake atitlan was a highlight of our trip. The service, food, and property were great. The town is not as great, it wasn’t a town at the top of my list to explore while in the area, but visiting El Picnic for a night was an unforgettable experience and definitely a highlight of our visit to the lake overall. ”

”We LOVED our stay at Tular. We were so pleasantly surprised with the property, the beauty of the gardens, the comfort of the cabins and beds, everything! The owner Gabriel was super helpful and patient with us when we arrived late due to car trouble. We were greeted so warmly with a delicious welcome tea and a great family dinner. We will definitely be back for another escape to nature!”

”Hermoso lugar situado en frente del lago de Atitlán. El personal del hotel Bambú cuenta con excelente servicio, la comida es deliciosa y el lugar cuenta con hermosos jardines, una piscina que la mantienen muy bien, y unas vistas espectaculares desde el área del restaurante al lago. Nuestro viaje fue de un grupo familiar y quedamos invitados a regresar.”

”Natural setting was amazing next to Rio Dulce. We arrived when it was dark so they sent someone to meet us the Litegua bus terminal and bring via boat to the hotel reception. The cabin was a little dated, but was comfortable and AC worked great. My wife and I loved our stay.”

”We had a nice time with my family at Cocori lodge. They have an amazing location and view right on the beach and lots of fun things to do while there. The pool is great to cool off in. Food and drink service was a bit slow at times but overall a great time and I’d go back. Recommend the Coco Locos”

”Abundance of tropical plants, saw parakeets flying around (instead of being in gage), heard monkeys, etc. Their website should say clearly, you can Not reach this property by land, Instead by boat only. ”

”Very cool and unique experience in the middle of the jungle. Lovely bungalows with hot water, large pool plus friendly and helpful staff. You can hear the animals around the place which is cool. I forgot my earings to the hotel and we were already on the way to Flores when the hostess drove after us and gave my jewellery back. Service was beyond expectation! Highly recommend this hotel!”

”Recomiendo que hagan silencio. Luego de laraga xaminata en Yaxhá llegamos agotados necesitando dormir pues al dia siguiente nos esperaban 10 hora de manejo hasta Antigua. Iniciaron una fiesta con situación bulliciosa, gritos, música hasta pasada la medianoche. Es una lástima considerando que el entorno es paradisíaco. Otro inconveniente es que las habitaciones tienen poca privacidad, cortinas que dejan ver hacia dentro, paredes de mader delgadas y cielo rasos compartidos donde se escucha hasta...
