”Property is right on the beach and the staff was very friendly. We didn't see any bugs, the AC worked, and the bed was okay. Those are the pros. The cons... I was disappointed overall. This is not what i expected from a Wingate by Wyndham property. It wasn't the cleanest. The hallways, stairs, and walls were all a little grotty. We only stayed one night and so it was bareable, but i will not be reserving this hotel in the future for our stays in Galveston.”

”The room was ok. Besides the carpet feeling kind of damp and sticky, everything seemed really clean. The bed made me feel like I was sleeping on rocks, but they were clean and nicely made. The receptionist was sweet but spoke really quietly, so I had to ask her to repeat herself several times. All in all, it was a decent stay. ”

”Place was very affordable but there were small indicators that cleanliness was not up to par. There were loose dark brunette hairs in the bathroom and shower that were obviously not ours, (we have blonde hair) and the security door latch was missing. The room did not match the advertised photos on the website but other than cleanliness and the door latch missing, the room was very very affordable and worked in a pinch.”

”Siisti perusmotelli. Huone ja lakanat oivat puhtaita. Erinomainen hinta-/laatusuhde. Aamiainenkin oli yllättävän kattava vaikka kyseessä vain tavallinen jenkkimotelli. Ilmastointilaite löytyi huoneesta, pysyttiin viileinä.”

”We stayed here 6 nights. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Yoghurt, pancakes, toast, fruit, coffee, muffins, boiled eggs.Excellent. Good swimming pool and great location. ”

”This was an overnight family trip and it was a very pleasant stay. The rooms (including the bathrooms) had been redone since the last time we stayed there and they are very nice. The one thing that wasn't excellent about the stay was the beds, they are extremely firm and when you are older and have joint and back pain they can make it difficult to sleep especially if you have overdone it during the day. However, I was the only one who this bothered as everyone else in my party slept...
