3 Bedroom House nestled between the bay and beach! Walk to both!

Quiet location in Fort Morgan with and easy access to both Mobile Bay and beaches of the Gulf of Mexico! Less than 2 miles from Fort Morgan State Historic Site and Mobile Bay Ferry Landing providing transportation to Dauphin Island. Only a half of a mile to Fort Morgan Marina with fishing charters and dolphin cruises available for booking and where the popular, local Tacky Jacks Fort Morgan restaurant is located.
This 3 bedroom/2 bath private home sleeps 10 guests. It has two inviting porches - one covered front porch with comfortable outdoor seating and one open back deck with amazing views of the bay for sunset and wildlife viewing! Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare meals during your vacation. Two full bathrooms with tub/shower combination in each. 2 bedrooms have king beds and 1 bedroom has a bunk bed, twin bed and pull out trundle bed. There are 2 fold down sofas in the living room.
Easy parking for up to 4 vehicles. There is a nice outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Pets considered (2 small dogs) with approval and fee.
Neighborhood boat launch at the end of the street for kayak, canoe, small boat, or motorized watercraft launch.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - space for 4 vehicles on site.
* Amenities include free WiFi, smart tvs, fully equipped kitchen, covered front deck with seating, sun deck on back with bay view and seating.
* Bed/bath linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.
* Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, one roll paper towels/toilet paper, and travel-sized soaps per bathroom.

* Must be at least 25 years old to reserve.
* Check-in is 4 p.m. or later. (no exceptions)
* Check-out by 10 a.m. (you will be charged if you stay in the property later than 10 a.m.)

The house and area was fabulous however the experience was tainted due to the owner of the property taking something of ours while we were renting the property. We understand that he stated it was an accident and he thought it was something left behind... but we had to spend the our last afternoon amd morning contacting the property manager. We felt comfortable thinking someone had stolen things from the property until the next morning when we were notified. The property manager was awesome and yes we were offered a fair proce for our item after negotiation...however it left us upset and in a inconvenienced over the whole event.

Great Location close to the Boat Ramp!

This was a great location with views of the bay! Quiet street and an easy walk to the beach! The property was clean and well maintained both inside and out! Great location if you plan on using the Ft. Morgan boat ramp which we did to launch our boat for fishing!

Construction disturbing

House old but in ok shape. Should have been warned about house construction next door and would not have committed. Construction noice all day from 8am to 5 pm took away any enjoyment sitting outside on decks! Expected better!

Clean and spacious for our two families. Outdoor shower was great, especially with the beach and kids. Have to cross a busy highway to go to beach but it isn’t far to walk. Dryer and mattresses could use updating. Overall for the price it was quite nice! Loved Gulf Shores and can’t wait to come back.

Great house

The house was very nice and in a quiet area. We had a couple issues that were addressed promptly. Very comfortable stay for my family. Would definitely stay again. My only complaint would be that there's not enough outdoor lighting. Could use some more facing the back yard, and the motion lights under the house didn't say on long at all. So it was very dark when taking the dog out at night. Had a great trip!

Spunky Sandpiper getaway!

My family of 7 and my inlaws enjoyed our stay at the Spunky Sandpiper and our visit to the Fort Morgan area. The location is great and a short walk to the bay or beach. Great outdoor space for throwing the football or letting your furbabies run. The beach is beautiful, lots of sandcastle making, jumping waves and walks to the point where the fort is. The house has plenty of space for entertaining inside or outside, we enjoyed lots of early coffee mornings and quiet evenings sitting on the front or back decks. Even better the surrounding neighbors had lots of great suggestions for food or play and just overall friendly. We enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to visit again!

Good time

The property was beautiful and the amount of beds and tvs for our family was perfect. However things weren’t as clean as expected. Not dirty but not super clean there’s splatters and such in the kitchen. One of the bedroom sinks didn’t drain well. Things listed as there at the house were inaccurate, there was no keurig only a drip coffee maker. Not a big deal, but should update the list. There was dry dog poop on the back porch, there was also a large spot in the back porch which needs to be fixed for safety. I would stay here again, it is a beautiful house and quiet neighborhood with good access to the beach and bay!! Thank you!

We enjoy visiting Fort Morgan we are from a small town and its great for us! We have stayed at this property before short walk to the beach, away from all the hustle of Gulf Shores but still near everything in Gulf Shores for shopping and enjoyment of your vacation! The house like before had everything we needed and enough space for 10 of us to enjoy and not be on top of each other!

Absolutely wonderful!

The entire process was a breeze, from check in to check out, we loved the location it was quiet and a nice walk to the beach, we had the best time. The only downfall was that we had to leave. We will definitely be booking here again.
