Gulf-Front Luxury at Shiloh – Your Beach Getaway!

"Shiloh – A is the Gulf Front side of a beautifully designed, four-bedroom, three-bath duplex in Fort Morgan, Alabama. With more than 3,000 square feet of living space and room for up to 21 guests, this spacious retreat is perfect for large group vacations or special beachside events. The other side of the duplex is not a rental, offering added privacy during your stay.

The well-equipped kitchen includes a side-by-side refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, and all the cookware you need to prepare everything from light snacks to full meals. The open-concept living and dining areas make it easy to cook, dine and gather together. A private elevator offers convenient access from the ground level to the upper floors, making unloading luggage or groceries a breeze.

Sleeping arrangements are designed for flexibility. The first floor features a primary bedroom with a king bed and a twin-over-twin bunk, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The second floor includes a second bedroom with a king and a twin bed, a third bedroom with three triple twin bunks, and a fourth bedroom with a queen and twin bed.

Step out onto your private screened-in porch and take in panoramic Gulf views and the fresh coastal breeze. You’ll also find plenty of parking for boats, bikes and beach gear, along with a gas grill for outdoor cooking (guests provide propane).

As a guest of Shiloh – A, you’ll enjoy access to two outdoor community pools, a children’s pool and tennis courts. Plus, you’re just steps from the sugar-white sand and calm turquoise waters of Fort Morgan’s beaches.

This was our second time staying at this property and I am sure we will be back to visit again. Booking, check-in, check-out were all very simple. I received a couple of texts during our stay to be sure everything was going well and it was. The property is beachfront and as good as it gets. We swam, did some fishing, crabbing, and even night fishing- so fun! Sunrise and sunsets are picture perfect. The dolphins were out almost every day. The master is on the top level with a walk-out balcony and rocking chairs. There is an elevator to help with luggage, groceries, etc. It is a little ways from downtown Gulf Shores, but we don’t mind the 20ish minute drive to town when needed. Beach was never crowded. There is a Dollar General close by and Walmart does deliver to the house now which was great. So thankful for this experience with family. Thank you for a wonderful trip. I highly recommend!

Beautiful home! Big kitchen with lots of counter space. On the beach-couldn’t get closer! Walk off the back deck onto the sand! Beautiful view of the ocean from the house/porch area! Our group had 4 adults and 7 kids. It worked perfectly for us!

Great location! House had plenty of beds and bedding. Our biggest complaints are 1. No where to sit in master bedroom to watch tv… great room but no chair or couch which could be so much better,2. Outdoor furniture was broke! 2 wicker settee’s. Spend some and make it nicer. It’s such gorgeous view !

This is a Duplex

Overall, I will say that we were happy with our stay at the Shiloh DUPLEX. There were 12 of us total, 6 Adults and 6 Children (10 and under) and we had more than enough room, kitchen amenities, and enough hot water for everyone to get a shower. We started the trip without towels but the management team was quick to address that and gave us more than enough towels and we were very appreciative of the quick response. Our only frustration was what we felt like were some misleading things in the listing. One its never called out that this is a Duplex and not a House. No one was staying at the other side, so it was not a big deal but we specifically didn't choose other listings because we were under the impression we were getting a house. Also the boardwalk that is shown in the listing picture does not go with the house, it is the public boardwalk for the rest of the community. This led to a little bit of "competition" to set up a tent everyday early so that we were able to enjoy the beach in front of the duplex. That said we were only frustrated by these things because of feeling misled by the listing. The place was great, we enjoyed our stay and if we were okay with a duplex then we would definitely look at staying again.

We were pleased with the location and the roominess of the property. The pools were an easy walk away, and during our stay not too crowded. We did not find a pot big enough for a shrimp boil and don’t recall that there was a pizza pan, minor inconveniences that didn’t take away from the overall property. We would definitely stay here again. There were 6 adults and 5 children under 11 in our party.

Shiloh house is a duplex

We were taken off-guard at check-in to learn this property is a duplex. No where in the various VRBO property descriptions is this mentioned. Otherwise the property is as-advertised regarding rooms and sleeping accomodations. The “other side” of the duplex does not appear to be rented and was occupied by the owners, who were very nice. The driveway and parking area are nice and reasonably large. However, this driveway and parking space is shared with the owners and this is never mentioned in the VRBO descriptions. We had five vehicles and two boats. We worked it out to leave access for the owners and their guests, but again, based on the VRBO description, we were not expecting to have to share space. In the end, it was okay a mild inconvenience. However, am I the only one that thinks that this property should be advertised and described as a duplex?

Clean, roomy, excellent location, beautiful beach and excellent access to beach. Management Company responded promptly when issues arose. Well stock kitchen. Laundry equipment worked great. Outdoor areas perfect for watching the beach activity. Will definitely rent again. We had 6 adults, 2, teens, 3, children. We had more than enough room for everything.

Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our time at the property. One note on the location and would only be a negative based on those in Morgantown during your stay. The “ Balcony view of private boardwalk for guest's use” is not for this property alone as it may appear. This is a boardwalk for those staying in Morgantown community as well. We experienced a few other families that hindered our time at the beach and this property is right beside that beach access. Other than the issue above the property was clean and we enjoyed our time.

Cleanest VRBO property I’ve rented!

I am a clean freak and usually have to spend the better part of my 1st day on the beach cleaning. Not the case with this property! Didn’t have to clean ANYTHING! Our group was 18 women, so the 3 bathrooms was a challenge, but we made it work. The property manager was very attentive. An ice maker would be an awesome addition since the one in the fridge only makes about 8 pieces at a time.

We had a wonderful time. Check in was easy. We loved the location. We didn't need much help from management. House could be a little cleaner.... areas around door knobs and handles need a little deep cleaning, but overall there were no issues with cleanliness. This location and house floor plan are incredible. The elevator was a major help in loading and unloading luggage, groceries etc. We would definitely return to this location.

Very Dirty - Would Not Recommend

Unfortunately this home wasn't what we were expecting. The house was filthy. We had to do a significant amount of cleaning to just get it up to par. From the floors to the handrails to the bathrooms, it all had to be cleaned and this was on top of waiting beyond our scheduled check-in time. The house was also missing basic things such as towel racks in the bathrooms, no toilet paper holders, and an inadequate number of dishes. The refrigerator had broken shelving. There was a door missing to one of the closets. There was also an inadequate number of towels. There was no host book to give us any information about the pool locations or information about the area. I reached out twice and both times I received unhelpful responses. For example, I asked for the location of one of the pools and the response was, "They're both in the same area." That was not helpful. The location of this home is great but unfortunately the location was overshadowed by the filth. Work shortages are a problem everywhere but if the owner isn't going to provide clean accommodations, perhaps the price should be lowered.

Great location for our family Beach trip. The facility was plenty roomy for our family of 10, providing comfortable space for togetherness and personal space. The facility is showing some age, but issues uncovered were promptly and professionally addressed. Excellent customer service! The only area of question was managing the garbage, as the cans were full on arrival. We were not advised of the trash pickup schedule, so were not able to take the cans to the curb. I advised the management company of the overflowing trash cans on our departure. (This was a minor issues, provided for improvement purposes only.) All in all, we will keep this on our list for our next visit to Fort Morgan.

Beautiful location

Our 3 generation family of 14 enjoyed beautiful weather and time together. Families with small children should be aware that active beach fishermen are catching sharks while families are swimming. The sand and water was gorgeous, but this situation concerned us.

A perfect place!

We were more than impressed with the house. The area, and the Gulf2Beach company. The house was more than we imagined and was the perfect family get away. Everyone had fun ( ages 5-69!) We loved the house inside and out! We enjoyed the beach everyday. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. The elevator made for convenient loading and unloading of our bags. Great property - perfect trip

We took the grandparents with us on a Fall Break beach trip and I lost count at how many times someone said “this place is perfect”. Right on the beach, not crowded whatsoever, but still close enough (15-20 min drive) to the dinner spots at Orange Beach. The house was in excellent condition, rooms were exactly as described. We didn’t need all 10 of the bunk beds but it would be a great option for multiple families vacationing together . Pools are great. We definitely recommend the Shiloh House!

Great Location, Great Space

We loved our stay. We had four families and 18 people, so we ended up moving some of the mattresses in the bunk room to the floors in the other rooms, which actually worked quite well. Being located right on the beach was great, and we didn't have to share the beach with too many other people. Communication with the hosts was excellent as well, they were quick to respond to any issues that arose. The only complaint (as many have noted) is that the bathrooms need more towel hooks and the kitchen needs better frying pans. They had a dozen or so frying pans, but only 2 or 3 were usable. Without many towel hooks in the bathrooms, we had to hang our wet towels and swimsuits wherever we could (railings, bed posts, curtain rods, etc).

Overall, we enjoyed the beach house. The pots and pans were low quality which made cooking and cleaning a bigger chore. We rented this unit because of the bunk room for the kids but there was no entertainment nearby.

Had a wonderful time at this beach house. Didnt know this was a duplex until we got there. Was not looking forward to staying in a duplex but it worked out fine. The house was clean, very roomy and a great set up. If I were to complain about anything it would be there were NO hooks, towel racks or anything in any of the bathrooms!! NOTHING to hang towels, clothes anything on. That was very annoying…so we had to hang our towels over doors etc. also..could use a new set of pots and pans….they have seen their day. All and all had a great stay

Amazing Location - Beautiful House

We stayed in this house with 3 full family (6 adults 6 kids). The house was the perfect size for this group. We had a bedroom for each couple and the bunch room for the kids was awesome! I wouldn’t add another adult couple to this home but you could add more kids! The house was in great shape and the location is RIGHT on the beach! Can’t beat it! The house did not have a hood BBQ (and old charcoal grill) which made it really hard to cook for our large group. The washer dryer is apartment size so just plan accordingly. It also isn’t well stocked with things like sand toys or things for the kids to play with. However these are not big deals and you just need to plan accordingly! The rental company was great to work with! Super responsive to all our questions! They were great communicators! The house master suite was huge and beautiful! Everything was very well kept the kitchen was great and lots of seating between the island and the kitchen table. This house was perfect for our trip and I can’t recommend it enough!
