Outdoor Living Space: One of the standout features is the inviting ground-level area beneath the home. Outfitted with comfortable furniture, a BBQ grill, and a classic porch swing, it's the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the Gulf breeze.

Spacious Deck: Start your morning with a coffee overlooking the surf or wind down your evening under the stars—this upper deck is made for both.

Open-Concept Interior: Inside, you'll find a comfortable living space with plenty of seating for both relaxing and enjoying a movie or game night. The kitchen offers modern appliances—including a rare gas range—and is well-equipped for easy vacation cooking. There's counter seating as well as a dining table, so everyone has a place at mealtime.

Sleeping Arrangements

Primary Suite: King bed with a private en-suite bathroom, featuring a soaking tub and separate shower.
Guest Bedroom: Queen bed, shares hall bath.
Bunk Room: Two twin-over-twin bunk beds, shares hall bath.
Living Area: Full sleeper sofa.
Hall Bath: Tub/shower combination.

Additional Details

Dogs 25 pounds and under are welcome (maximum 2).
Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Snowbirds welcome – inquire about special off-season rates.

Located just 15 miles from the heart of Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan offers a peaceful, scenic retreat while still keeping essentials close by. You'll find a nearby Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market for groceries and supplies. Local dining options include Tacky Jack’s, Sassy Bass (two locations), Coast, and the newly opened Jesse’s on the Bay. Many spots also feature live, local music.

The recently reopened Fort Morgan fishing pier offers excellent inshore fishing access. And for nature lovers, the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge is just a short drive away. Explore over 7,000 acres of protected coastal habitat, with four hiking trails that showcase native flora and fauna.

Nice stay but needs a little work.

Home was clean except we didn’t have a big outside garbage can because they we full until our last day than we could take trash out. Maintenance never showed up to fix swing that was broke my daughter in law sat on it the 1st day. Chains were rusted out. It seems like the neighborhood would clean up the weeds around the homes. Idk if thats a normal thing in the area,The outside furniture could use some new cushions the ones there are very flat. Over all We had a great time while we were there.

Family Trip 2025

Easy to find. Short walk to beach. Beach not to crowded. Good local food. Plenty of room for our family of 8. Only problem was that we have 3 teens that are 5'10- 6'2 and the bunk beds were a little short for them. We had such a great time though. Will be back.

Would definitely recommend

We had a blast. The check in was super smooth. The location is not crowded making plenty of room on the beach. The location was 100 yards from the beach. The check out was very easy. The staff also came in and checked with us at one point and was super helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for any medium to small sized families looking for a quick get-away

A Nice little Get Away

It was a nice little get away. A few structural things needed repair but this didn’t impede our time. The only things that we felt could have been better is that the master tub water drained and we were not able to use it and the TV buffered and kicked us off every time we tried to watch anything in the evening. However, the quality and price was great and we enjoyed our time over Mothers Day Weekend.

Fort Morgan family vacation

We had so much fun visiting Gulf Shores. The house was very clean and the perfect size for our family (2 toddlers, my husband, my parents and myself). The access to the beach was a close and easy walk. It did take between 20-30 minutes to get to attractions in Gulf Shores. We flew in so It would have been nice to have some kitchen items like spices, trash bags and additional paper products. We had to purchase and then throw out which felt like a waste. The TV in the living room worked but we had a hard time getting the bedroom TVs on. There were several children’s beach toys and extra lawn chairs which was great! The house also had a pack and play which was very helpful. Overall I would recommend!

Remarkable

This home had everything anyone would need. No need to pack the fans if you sleep with one. This house has an abundance of them. Just steps away from the gulf beautiful views. Only downfall of our trip was the dang cold and that awful wind. Didn’t make fishing any fun. Will be back in august.

Disappointed Customer

The stay was ok. I wasn’t expecting to be so far away from the attractions I wanted to attend. Very upset about the amount of tissue they had. Floors was not clean, There was no refreshen of the house. Bathroom face bowls had a draining problem. Dead insects in window seals and on floors, Dishes dirty, and checkout time was not good. 10:00am is not even a half a day to depart considering you’re not allowed to check in until after 4:00 pm. Overall I was very disappointed and will never consider this again.

Beach getaway for busy nurse and family

The property was amazing! There was sand in the bed before we even got into it. Don't expect any seasonings or anything to be there. There are 2 locked rooms that my husband joked being their camera rooms. It's hard not to get up at the crack of dawn because there is no curtains in the room sadly. The view was gorgeous and so worth the 11 hour drive. Now before our reservation I was asked to change my reservation a month or two after it was already set so the family that owns the home could stay there. They were going to give me an extra day if I switched which was impossible with both my husband and all the kids schedule so I had to decline. They said fine and a week later I'm being called back AGAIN saying the owners canceled my reservation because they were originally going to Disney,but somebody in their family was pregnant and wanted to stay at their beach house instead. This put a really bad taste in my mouth for VRBO properties because they were allowing this family to just cancel me. With alot of stress and words back and fourth and I'm sorry there's nothing we can do I was passed. We were about a month or two before our vacation and there was nothing else I could find so I told the company coastal view that this was a legal issue to sign a contract and then be forced out of that contract with no other options. Anyways they called me back AGAIN the next day and said the owner of coastal view properties was going to let that family stay in his house so that way it didn't cause problems with our reservation that they had already td me been canceled. If your planning on coming to this hidden treasure getaway just make sure ur not booking around the same time the family will want to be there because I don't think if I would had fought so hard we would had been able to stay...

Everything was great. Would have given a 5 out of 5, but one night the wind was blowing and there is something loose on the roof. It was very loud and woke us up several times one night.
