”The property was well maintained and the room was really clean.”

”First of all, the hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate any request you had. The breakfast was very good. They had two different flavors of waffle batter which is unusual and they had breakfast kielbasa with eggs and potatoes which was also something different. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast area was spotless.”

”We liked the fact that the hotel is historic but had modern conveniences. Also a prime factor was the walkability. Everything was literally right there.”

”Very clean, modern property. I did not use the pool or gym, but everything else was maintained well. Breakfast was good, but fairly busy on the weekend mornings.”

”Nice room, clean, great amenities, decent breakfast. Had a few issues, no working fan in the bathroom (found out the hard way lol), and tub faucet had a fast leak that we reported, but no one came to fix. Keeping the door closed made it very humid in there. Was offered another room but decided to stay since we got in so late and wouldn’t be using the room much. Friendly staff, would stay there again.”

”This was my favorite place to stay out of 4 of my 9 day long trip. It was beautiful, peaceful and the staff was friendly, helpful and they all seemed to love their jobs. We felt very at home but yet they treated us like royalty. The breakfast was amazing and the chef even came out and talked to us!! Will we go back, YES!!”

”My family and I stayed in Hanging Cabin #9, which had bunk beds suited for my two children. The cabin appeared to have been recently renovated, with new flooring and a well-equipped kitchen. It included a TV (unlike other cabins we've stayed in without one) and a nice jacuzzi. Keep in mind that being outdoors means bugs may be around, which is not the property's fault but a natural occurrence. A bit of pest control before guests arrive could have made this place an A+.”

”This is a very interesting hotel because the building and grounds are a former asylum. The room doors have small openings that are now sealed, but reveal the former use for observation. The floors are beautiful restored wooden planks about 6 inches wide and very lovely. Everything inside the rooms was well furnished, and the bathrooms are in a pleasant contemporary style. I could not get the online key system to work so we instead picked up traditional electronic key cards from a woman at the...
