”All staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful, I'd booked an attic room but seeing my husband on crutches they immediately swapped us into a first floor room which I think was an upgrade as it had a huge freestanding copper bath and Chesterfield sofa as well as a king (or maybe super king) sized bed. We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been. We enjoyed our meals in the bistro including breakfast in 3 mornings and an evening meal - the food was delicious and every attention to detail was given. We were very impressed with all aspects of our stay and will definitely book again when back in Northumbria!”
