”Very good breakfast and a wide selection of food available all day. Spotlessly clean room and pleasant indoor and outdoor seating areas. Mattress was too soft but that's more of a personal preference.”

”Room was fine with what looked like a recently refurbished bathroom. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was beautifully presented and of à high quality. Would definitely stay here again”

”The hotel is under refurbishment. This is not reflected in the price nor mentioned when booking. Hotel is in poor condition and the accommodation was not clean. The bathroom had old flannels hanging from the shower curtain and a used bar of soap covered in hairs. I contacted the hotel about my concerns and they said because we had booked via Expedia that I should complain to them.”

”I was confused by the reviews on this hotel as they swung from terrible to fantastic. I found the place perfect for my stay, while doing the coast to coast walk. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, the bar was good, I didn’t require an evening meal. The room was clean as were the facilities. ”Clean nicely proportioned room, comfy bed, nice cotton bedding, soft towels. Good shower with lovely hot water. We had a delicious evening meal. Breakfast was really good too. Good service. All cooked to order. Our dog was made very welcome. We recommend without hesitation. ”
