”The Americinn in Forest Lake was affordable and clean. My son enjoyed playing in the large pool, but the hot tub was under repair. The breakfast was decent, but not great. The beds were comfortable.”

”The price was the only good thing. You get what you pay for. The property was very run down and the interior was just as bad as the exterior. Locked plate glass lobby makes you think you are in a war zone in Detroit not Anoka MN”

”It seems the staff was trying to accuse guests of smoking in their rooms so they could charge them an extra $250,be careful if you stay there. The pillows where like toddler pillows. The shower enclosure felt like I was going to step thru it. The breakfast was always cold no matter of morning it was and less then appetizing. Don't recommend staying here.”

”We have stayed here many times over the last five years. It is our go to property in the area. I will have to say that the stay this time was disappointing only because the breakfast did not offer much that we liked and very limited. Otherwise the rooms are very nice and the whole property is very clean.”

”The towels in the bathroom were very worn and frayed. Some even had holes in them. The only curtains on the window were blackout drapes. Since we were on a ground floor we could not have any light from the window except by having the drapes open which then allowed for anyone to look easily into the room. The electrical lighting was very poor, nothing but a few lamps which were inadequate. Also thought the complimentary breakfast was poor. The donuts were stale and the other things served...

”Room was not cleaned well -dust everywhere, mold/stains in bathroom, clock and phone stacked on top of each other, remote for tv look like it was just thrown behind it and left where it landed. The room smelled VERY STRONGLY OF SMOKE- Even though the doors all say no smoking. Transient people everywhere in parking lot, at side doors with side doors propped open by rocks, someone storing there very used bicylce inside stairwell by side door- got feeling these people were living there. ”Was hoping for a classic cup of coffee, but it came from a machine that had very strong coffee at EXTREME hott temperature.”

”I had a great experience! They were able to accommodate us when the room next to us had a dog that was barking nonstop. Great welcoming staff!”

”It’s a place to stay if you’re on a budget, The front desk attendant was nice. The back entrance door was busted and did not lock, so anyone could walk into the building. We moved the dresser to plug in something and there was a dust pile and hairs on the pillows.”

”I wqs there for 9 days. Staff was great! Room was clean. Breakfast was fresh and well maintained every morning. The Hot tub was out of service the whole week, but they were working on it. I wouldn't use anyway so that part didn't matter to me. Across the parking lot was a very good home cooked food cafe and bakery. I would definetly stay ther again.”
