”We enjoyed staying here. As a big cat lover I was pleased of the friendly cats they had.
The only negative side was the noise which started between 7-8am on mornings. We stayed in unit number 1 so I think that the staff started their day in the room next to ours. Also a sponge for dishes in the room would be nice to have - now we had to borrow it from the kitchen. ”
”On our second evening there was a tsunami evacuation. The staff and manager waited until we were safely on a bus to the evacuation centre. This took some time and they gave us regular updates. When we were allowed to return they offered to collect us or send an uber. Thanks so much. The hotel is quite good. Aircon is a bit noisy but works. Probably the best option in Hilo.”
”This is a great place. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and cleaned daily.
My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer. I switched sides of the Big Island and probably didn’t need to.

”We had a little hiccup with the email providing the check-in info, but once we called it was quickly resolved. The room has been redecorated nicely, with a super comfy bed and cold A/C. Right next to the farmers market, and a short walk to downtown Hilo.
