”Golf course it’s amazing but that’s it. I can’t recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to do something else than only play golf.
It’s very basic resort hotel without any luxury. All the prices were 50% more than in Marriott Weligama.
We couldn’t get any spa times to booked, there’s absolutely nothing around the hotel, beach is not for swimming and there’s no restaurants or even sun beds at beach.
Half of the hotel facilities were closed and hotel would need some renowation. You can’t call...

”Sehr schön gelegene Lodge mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Leider hatten wir in der 2. Nacht Ratten im Zelt was weniger schön war..es wurde sich aber schnell darum gekümmert. Zudem sind die Einheimischen in der Umgebung anscheinend sehr Partyfreudig, weswegen es manchmal bis 23 Uhr sehr sehr laut war! Schade… aber alles zusammen ein guter Aufenthalt.”

Buckingham Place offered one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The location is superb in amidst of the nature; you will see lots of birds, monkeys and peacocks. The beach is amazingly beautiful and you most probably see only couple of other people there. The rooms are stylish, spacious and are furnished in a minimalist way. And then about the food: everything from the breakfast to the dinner was outstanding and good-quality. It was pure joy to eat at the hotel which is not...
