”Hotel looks fairly upgraded from the outside but the inside and rooms still seemed somewhat run down. Bedding and room was clean tho. Choice privilege Wifi setup through the tv was not user friendly at all.”

”Breakfast is a typical continental breakfast. It was good. The bar is great for drinks and a quick bite if you don't want to go out.”

”The food at the Piedmont Restaurant was not good. The menu was too sophisticated for the staff to execute. The lodge rooms were updated, but not very clean. There was a bridge in the gardens with rotted wooden slats and steps, and one section of the rail was missing altogether. The staff was friendly and helpful.”

”I was really disappointed! The pool and room jacuzzi was closed and there was no mention of this, on the website. It was spring time and the weather was around 80 degrees. Secondly, there were chiggers all over the nightstands AND in our bed. We counted, and killed, above 40 of them. It was so bad that we had to decide to either go buy bug spray OR go home (without a refund). The bug spray seemed to help but the peaceful sleep was destroyed.”

”Always a great stay while visiting LaGrange College! The beds are ridiculously comfortable and the rooms are always spotless! The staff at the front desk and restaurant/bar/coffee shop were awesome and so welcoming!”

”We did indulge in the pool but we came at a time of the year were it’s probably not ideal to swim in a pool if it’s not heated but that didn’t stop my family from trying it out because it was a beautiful and perfect pool. :)”

”This property is a hidden gem. The outer appearance is appealing which leads you to the well-maintained inside. There was plenty of room for our guests and the hosts were very responsive and courteous. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area. ”

”Everything was excellent except for maintenance issues in the room: 1) no stopper for the bathtub, 2) missing hook to hang clothing on bathroom door, 3) vanity light switch that didn't work, and 4) burnt-out bulb in bedside lamp.”

”You will not regret staying here. I was amazed with how beautiful the B&B was as well as the impeccable customer service by the owners. 100% recommend to stay here if you are deciding where to stay in Opelika. Also, the owner makes breakfast and it is delicious and complimentary with your stay.”

”I wanted to leave 5 stars but the appearance of a roach as I was getting dressed to leave and the stains in the lampshade that was either blood or bug droppings stole the other two stars. I’ve stayed at many different places in my journeys and I understand what and what not to expect based on the type of property you book. This place was OK overall and if there was ever a need to be in this area briefly I’d consider them again. It’s close to food & the highway it was quiet and seemingly safe...
