”What a cool spot, lots of things to do around the property or just relax by the pool and sauna. This would be a fun spot for couples, great vibe and easy to be romantic, assuming you like to be spoiled and outdoors at the same time.”

”Beautiful cottage resort our hockey team loved staying at. Having evening camp fires and afternoon fishing was perfect. I wish we had time for golf, the course looks amazing. My only complaint is that the resort is huge and they have little to no walking trails connecting the 2 areas together, it was faster to drive and that's not ideal. ”

”Heating was the only real complaint that I had with the stay....it took a while for the heater (electric heat) to warm up the room. The room was clean but did smell like old cigarette smoke. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Convenient to local amenities.”

”The room and house was spotless, cozy and comfortable. The bed was so comfy. So many extras and luxuries that made our stay amazing. Breakfast was delicious and presented with so much attention to detail. Rose is a gem - kind and hospitable. We highly recommend it here when you are in the Port Hope area. ”

”The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the back gardens is a big plus. Margaret is very accessible and helpful. Her garden shop is a lovely place to browse. This is our third stay and we will most likely return if visiting in the area.”

”Honestly the only thing missing from this “Bates Motel” was Norman himself. The rooms are extremely dated, the bed was so uncomfortable just to sit on. The windows are filthy and covered in bugs and no screens on the windows to air the place out. They use some sort of cheap carpet fresh stuff and enough of it that the whole place smells like cheap masked floral smell. Awful experience I left after 10 minutes and went to the Holiday Inn Express Waterfront which was excellent! I will say the...

”Stayed here many times. Booked a ground floor room through expedia which was a few dollars more than upper rooms. When we arrived, they charged us another $10 for the ground floor room. Halls a bit dark, smokey and dated. Furnishings a bit beat up. Bed comfortable and bathroom was clean. ”
