Upotettu korkki - veden reunapaikka!

Rentoudu ja nauti järvielämästä "The Upken Corkissa". Kolme tilavaa makuuhuonetta ja kaksi kylpyhuonetta tarjoavat tämän vesireunan mökille poikkeuksellisen mukavuuden kahdeksalle vieraalle. Nauti henkeäsalpaavista näkymistä järvelle ja viihdytä ystäviä ja perhettä laajoilla kansilla!

Mökin pääsisäänkäynti johtaa avoimeen ruokasali- ja olohuoneeseen. Suuret viehättävät ikkunat viivat koko järven puolelle ja tarjoavat hienon näkymän Keuka-järvelle. Kierrä sohvalle ja nauti hyvästä kirjasta kuuntelemalla vesisylinää rantaviivaa vasten!

Aivan ruokailutilan vieressä on viehättävä keittiö, täysin varustettu kaikille ruoanlaittovaatimuksillesi. Olohuoneen kaukana on makuuhuone, jossa on 4 julistetta Queen-size-vuodetta. Täysin varustettu kylpyhuone, jossa suihku, pesukone ja kuivausrumpu, sijaitsevat käytävällä portaiden yläosassa sisäänkäynnin ja alatason välillä.

Täysin valmiissa kellarissa on kaksi ylimääräistä makuuhuonetta, joissa molemmissa queen-size-vuode, josta on upea näköala järvelle. Vedä verhot auki aamulla ja katsele auringon tanssimista vedellä, kun olet vielä sängyssä. Nämä makuuhuoneet jakavat pääsyn toiseen kylpyhuoneeseen, jossa on pesuallas, lipasto ja suihku.

Näistä makuuhuoneista liukuvat lasiovet vievät sinut ulos alakerrokseen, missä Adirondack-tuolit odottavat rentoutumista. Nauti päivästä aurinkoa laiturilla, viihdy ulkokeittiössä / grillillä tai ota käyttöön kajakki, jota vieraat voivat käyttää.

”Upotettu korkki” sijaitsee vain muutaman minuutin päässä Hammondsportin pikkukaupungista, joka tunnetaan pikkukaupungin viehätyksestään, historiallisista keskustan ostosmahdollisuuksista, upeista ruokailutiloista ja herkullisesta jäätelöstä. Voit myös aloittaa Keukajärven viinimatkan täällä vain nähdäksesi kuinka monta korkkia voi uppoaa - muistot upeasta lomasta Keukajärvellä alkavat täältä!

Beautiful and Relaxing Stay

We booked this for a family birthday weekend and it was perfect. The location is amazing, right on the water, but also on a quiet street. The check in process was easy. The house was very clean. We had family over and they loved it. There is plenty of room for guests to visit. It’s so peaceful! We did not want to leave! Thank you for a wonderful birthday weekend!

Beautiful Area

Beautiful area and lake. Very quiet. House was very beat up, needs a lot of repairs. House was basically clean except for showers in bathrooms especially downstairs needs to be replaced. Very old and dirty with stains and mold that can’t be removed. Carpet is not pleasant. Screen door was broken in downstairs bedroom so it couldn’t be used. Outdoor area was large and beautiful but not maintained. I had to wipe all outdoor furniture down with cleaning spray as it was filthy. Outdoor grill area was not cleaned and all tile and grill was full of grease. Outdoor sink was full of leaves and dirt. Dock is black with dirt so if you went barefoot your feet turned black. With cost of this property it was very disappointing that at least at beginning of season everything outside was cleaned and power washed. The outside is probably 85% of why everyone rents this house so not understanding the neglect.

Memorial day weekend kick-off to summer!!

Gorgeous view!! 3 couples stayed comfortably in this lovely lake house!! Wineries were amazing and used a local company as our driver, Keuka Lake Limo! Great way to enjoy your Memorial day weekend!

Great Location

The sunken cork is a wonderful getaway for any group! It was located near several wineries, distilleries, and breweries too. The deck and lake are wonderful. There are a decent amount of stairs to get to the property, so this could be an issue for anyone with mobility problems. The house is very comfortable and has just about everything you will need for a stay. The first floor bedroom and living room/kitchen are the only rooms with an AC unit, but the night breeze did help with the lower level bedrooms. Overall, we loved our stay.

THE SUNKEN CORK - - A GEM!!

My family and I stayed at The Sunken Cork 06/17-06/19 and had a wonderful visit!! I was a bit leery to rent "site unseen"' however, the write up and reviews were spectacular and certainly exceeded our expectations!! The floorplan, cleanliness, and just the lake view was spectacular. Just the little welcoming touches were spot-on. I will certainly stay here again as it definitely exceeded our expectations! Thank you to the owners for opening their home as it was a special time with my family by continuing our annual visits for the past 30 years and making lasting memories at Watkins Glen.

Fall Get away

Beautiful location Directly on the water. Plenty of space for our group of five adults. The kitchen was well stocked and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to have our coffee while looking out over the water with the fall foliage all around us! The one thing that I did notice that wasn’t mentioned was the amount of steps that you need to go up and down to get to the house from where you park. That should be noted in the review. The only other thing would be I can’t give it a five star for cleanliness. Although the kitchen and bathrooms were clean there were lots of spiders and dead bugs and cobwebs in the corners and around the floors behind the beds. Nothing that a good vacuuming in all those areas couldn’t take care of. Otherwise beautiful Location on the water and very comfortable home.

Beautiful View with Mildew

Gorgeous setting, clean, and easy to find. Excellent location with wineries, local shops, and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, we could not use the bottom floor. It had an overpowering mildew smell. The dampness in the lower level invited newts and spiders into the beds! The multiple fans and a dehumidifier was emptied 3 times in one night! I would stay with a smaller number of guests and not at that price.

A wonderful spot!

Awesome time!

We loved our 4 day stay at the Sunken Cork! The dock is amazing and we enjoyed every evening hanging out to the serenity of the lake. The open area was awesome and so much deck room! The beds were fine ( from earlier remark) but we all brought our own pillows ( personal choice and covid..). The linens were vacuum sealed and we felt they took the extra measure. We were 6 adults, celebrating my kids both graduating college and had no celebration because of pandemic. We had a great time visiting Wineries, breweries and local shopping. My only negative was the limited cookware available but we made do . Would totally stay here again and the neighborhood was great for walking the dogs.
