”The location was perfect for us as we were going to the theatre. (2 minute walk). Walking to town didn’t take much longer and we enjoyed looking around. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and offered advice about where to visit. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and the same for when we went down for breakfast. ”Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. ”There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark.”
