”Purbeck house hotel is right in the town and close to everything. However, once inside and in the gardens, it is so tranquil, a perfect stay. Staff so helpful and friendly and meet requests and enquiries with a smile. Room was comfortable and clean and all you need for a stay. Varied continental breakfast, perfect. ”We had a panorama sea view, which was excellent, but we had to share the balcony with the next door neigbours, which we found annoying and strange. The location was great on the top of the fill and only about 15 minutes walk from the center. The pool of neighbor hotel (which we were able to use fro free) was very nice (both indoor and outdoor), and the water even +31 celcius! ”Clean, comfy bed, and great shower. But be aware that the central location to the square = a lot of noise. Disturbances include a constant ticking type sound in the room, noisy bar patrons in the evening, and the constant ringing of church bells on the 1/2 hour. Appreciated the provided ear plugs. ”

Room lovely, bed comfy but think they should have one firm pillow and one soft pillow on bed. 1st morning breakfast - cereal and yoghurts variety and toaster available for use but 2nd morning nothing laid out no cereal and yoghurt or toast so was limited. Iron ironing board and hairdryer a bonus. The layout of the restaurant and decor had a relaxing cost ambience. Over all happy to go back and have recommended to to family who have already booked in. ”

”The gym and pool facilities are great and really made our visit. Room was comfortable and the bathroom newly refurbished. 10 min walk into town which made everything convenient. Would stay again.”

”My second time staying here. Checked in easy enough with the accommodation across the road at the lodge. The room had nice décor although the bathroom looked a little tired. I used the onsite gym facilities which did not have a lot of people in and allowed me to use the work stations and benches when I wanted to. The shower was good, the bed very comfy and breakfast across at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. A lovely place to stay.”
