”I had a nice stay at Barclay Cottage Inn overall. The property was clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located near the beach. The service was also good, and I had a pleasant experience with the staff. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. I realize the property describes it as a continental breakfast, so I may have had different expectations based on some of the breakfast photos I saw online. The breakfast offered during my stay was fairly limited: bagels with cream cheese or...

”Loved that there was a continental breakfast included as well as an evening wine and snacks provided. Perfect location for beach access. Only suggestion I would have is having beach chairs and a pool shade umbrella - even for a fee. We flew in and rented a car so had to go out and purchase beach chairs”

”We loved our stay! The inn is exactly as pictured. The balcony was perfect as we watched the thunder clouds roll in and watched it rain, it was so relaxing. The inn is located close to everything the town could offer, with less than a 5 minute walk straight into the ocean. There is only about 6 parking spots for the whole Inn, we didn't have any issues with parking but I'm sure during peak season or if the Inn is sold out it could be an inconvenience. The bed was comfortable, the half bathroom...

”First, the "oceanfront" label is misleading. You cannot see the ocean from this property — and as every beach traveler knows, we pay extra for oceanfront specifically to *see the ocean*. Neither Expedia nor the property's own listings make this clear. They need to be honest about this in their advertising. Second, privacy and security are real concerns. My suite's sliding door opens essentially straight onto the beach with no barrier — I never felt safe leaving it open to hear the waves,...

”The Inn at Warner Hall is a fantastically restored piece of history. The inn is in great condition and beautifully done. The property grounds look great and includes a 1-mile walking path with river views. The friendly staff and great breakfast only add to a wonderful stay.”
