”This property is located in the Hanalei Colony Resort and is classified by the resort as a partial ocean view. Other than onsite free parking, no amenities such as the shuttle are available gratis. The pictures in the listing are accurate. Check in was easy.”

”The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us check out beach towels, boogie boards, and beach chairs for free. The view from the room overlooking the beach and palm trees was super. The location was centrally located for going either direction on the island. The problem was that homeless were prevalent around the area. Most the best food in the area was from food trucks, which was fine most of the time. They definitely need a new bed. I felt like I was sleeping on the side of the hill...

”This was the first time in Hawaii and the first time ever staying at this hotel. We loved the early check-in. The staff was above excellent!!!!!!!!!!! My family really enjoyed EVERYTHING about this hotel. The staff was the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

”There is no AC in the units. If you have any issues do not expect a return call. These are older units and we had many items that did not operate in the room — the fan (essential) and the tub (essential). Property is nice and view is amazing on the Cliff”

”Overall we had a good stay. The view from the room was incredible and definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The resort itself was nice and the staff around the property were very friendly and helpful, especially the people who shuttle guests to and from their cars. Parking is a bit of a walk from the units, so they take you by golf cart, which was convenient, though it might be a little harder for older guests. we enjoyed our stay and the view was truly amazing.”

”The location is definitely the highlight for this resort. Perfectly situated in front of the beach, with a view of the ocean from basically anywhere in the resort. The beach itself is not for swimming as it’s short and rocky, but there are plenty of good options at walking distance. The resort itself is OK, adequate for the price but not exceptional. Room amenities are limited also in the “premium” rooms. Nice pool, although in the late afternoon, which would otherwise be the best time for...

”Check-in was smooth as well as check-out. List of easy instructions to follow, nice little gift, and quick responses from staff members about any issue. My family and I ran into a little issue at night, and they were quick to respond and send someone as soon as they could to resolve the problem. I would hands down book this spot again when I go back.”
